Oak Kitchen Furniture Online

Oak kitchen furniture usually consists of a solid oak kitchen table and chairs as well as maybe a wine rack and dresser. An oak dresser can be used to display quality items within the home such as ornaments and mini teasets, pictures of family or to just store cutlery in its drawers.

We visited a home earlier this week which has a large range of oak kitchen furniture in Sussex where the family were looking to sell some oak chest of drawers and a solid oak wardrobe.

The moving of this furniture went well but if we were to buy new we would of defiantly purchased online. Either way, getting the oak chest of drawers down the stairs was very easy as they did not weight as much as we thought. The oak wardrobe was harder due to its height and awkward to negotiate down the stairs. We did manage it in the end and fortunately didn’t hit any pictures, scrape any wallpaper or chip or scratch the oak wood which makes this oak wardrobe look beautiful.

When it came to the oak bedroom furniture being loaded into the van, we realise it was going to put pressure on the delicate wood. In the end we placed the wardrobe onto of the chest of drawers with the oak drawers taken out of the furniture for the trip home.

The oak wardrobe is upstairs in the bedroom now as well as the other oak bedroom furniture but the oak drawers themselves are still in our front room. They need a little work on putting back in due to screws which hold the oak drawers inside the actual chest of drawers but this wont take long to do.
